Join us as we shape the manufacturing of the future through our Advanced Manufacturing programs, which are all designed to help the ‘Make in India’ campaign. According to the FICCI-TSMG Survey 2016, despite a significant investment of 15% of CAPEX in Advanced Manufacturing (AM), there is still a scarcity of competent professionals in this vital sector. But do not worry! At the Tata Indian Institute of Skills, we're bridging the gap by providing high-quality training that prepares people to flourish in this ever-evolving industry.
With our fantastic programs, which are meant for everyone with an interest, get ready to join the exciting revolution of electric vehicles. The Indian government has set ambitious targets, including the installation of 20 lac charging stations and the conversion of 30% of passenger cars, 70% of commercial vehicles, and 80% of two-wheelers to electric power by 2030. However, existing online courses do not often provide the necessary hands-on experience. That's when we step in! Tata IIS provides hands-on training that will provide you with the skills you need to succeed in this ever-changing industry.
As the hospitality industry bounces back from the pandemic, it's growing fast and needs skilled workers. By 2028, it's expected to grow by 10.33% every year, so it's crucial to train ambitious people now. But there's a big problem: there aren't enough workers, and many leave their jobs (attrition rates are 40–50%).
Our institute wants to help by offering training programs tailored to the industry's needs. These programs cover hospitality, culinary arts, and food and beverage management, and the skills learned can be used in other industries like aviation and healthcare.

Tadoba Tribal Uplift: TATR government foundation from Chandrapur, Maharashtra works towards conserving the biodiversity of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve while fostering peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife. They sponsored over 40 trainees from the tribal areas of the district. Manjusha and Seema, secured lucrative positions at Limban Resort, a regional standout.
Suyash Vetal, a diploma student at Y.B. Patil Polytechnic in Pune, lost his father at a young age and was raised by his mother, who did home chores and earned less than one lakh per year for the family. He believes that the automation course helped him to become more technologically proficient and to stay one step ahead of his colleagues in the development of training kits. Suyash received the highest compensation of ₹5 lakhs p.a. in an American MNC, Air Products. during campus placement for his batch
Vinayak is from a small village in Islampur, Sangli, with a household income of less than Rs 4 lakh per year. He excelled in automation training and landed an R&D post at Bajaj Auto, earning ₹3.2 lakhs per year. This was the first R&D position at RIT Sangli, and the faculty feel that the improved practical knowledge helped him get there.
Empowwering the Tadvi community: Meaningful partnerships are vital. We conducted a dedicated training batch for core housekeeping skills for youth from Tadvi sect of Gujarat, in collaboration with Happy Faces Foundation. Most trainees were placed with Renaissance by Marriott, while some went back to opportunities in their hometown in Kevadia, a renowned tourist destination, home to the iconic Statue of Unity.
Harshit Patel, from a farming family, relocated to work at Marriott Indore. Earning ₹15,000 monthly plus accommodation and meals, his journey from rural roots to thriving in a prestigious hotel kitchen exemplifies dedication and growth. Harshit’s fusion of tradition and modern techniques enriches Marriott’s acclaimed cuisine.
