The Tata Indian Institute of Skills (Tata IIS) has been envisioned as a catalyst for empowering the nation's workforce. Incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, Tata IIS is an initiative of the Tata Group, in partnership with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Its mission is to establish, operate, and maintain two prestigious Indian Institutes of Skills (IIS) in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
